Variable Speed Limit Signs
Variable Speed Limit Signs are electronic illuminated traffic signs emulating the static version of the conventional Speed Limit Regulatory Sign R4-1 with the capacity to set any value speed limit and also display other graphical symbols. VSLS’s are generally controlled from a TMCC (traffic management control centre) and are designed to operate either in single mode or groups. Communications protocol is RTA Communications protocol for roadside devices TSI-SP-003.
